Muhammad Mehdi

Founder & Chairman


Muhammad Mehdi is Founder and Chairman of Institute of International Relations and Media Research (IIRMR). He is senior foreign affairs expert with rich credential as politician in PML-N. Holding the office of foreign affairs coordinator in his political party, he succeeded in cultivating sustainable ties between PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif and foreign diplomats. He makes a big splash in the field of diplomacy, media communication, scholarly and academic research, political analysis and strategies, value-added lectures on national and international platforms and top of them policy-making in foreign affairs. Mr. Mehdi is also regular columnist in Jang group of media. His columns and articles also appear in foreign media.

He represented Pakistan among 17 young global leaders who met then US president Barack Obama in 2009 under US State Department International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). He is one and only receiver of worthy qualification as Political Strategist (International Academy for Leadership, Gummers Bach, Germany). On account of his hard work, professional interactions and frequent visits to US, UK, Germany, Russia, China and various parts of Europe, foreign diplomats brand him as game changer. The Japan government also conferred Japan National Award to him in the recognition of his meritorious services on political, cultural fronts between Pakistan and Japan. He is active speaker at seminars, talks-shows and press conferences held in foreign countries and in Pakistan.


Yasir Habib Khan

Founder & President


Yasir Habib Khan is a founder and president of Institute of International Relations and Media Research (IIRMR). With hands on experience in Media including print, online, digital and social media landscape, he blazed the trail in the arena of national and international Journalism.

He regularly pitch articles and opinion pieces on international relations, diplomacy, politics, governance, human rights and economics for Geo TV, The Nation, Daily Times, Pakistan Today. For foreign media, he writes for China Today, China Radio International and South China Morning Post.

International Center for Journalist (ICFJ) awarded him Journalistic scholarship "US-Pakistan Professional Partnership Program for Journalists" funded by US state department. Chinese government also conferred him "China Friendly Netizen 2017 award.

He has distinction of founding members of three newspapers during their launching time. These newspapers include Express Tribune, Pakistan Today and Dunya.

Academically, he has acquired two master degree including Master of Science in Mass Communication and Master in History and Pakistan Studies.


Muhammad Faisal

Muhammad Faisal is senior vice president of Institute of International Relations and Media Research (IIRMR). He is head of Pakistan-Portugal Foreign Affairs Council. Known to have mastery in traditional diplomatic skills including languages, written and oral communications, negotiating, networking, crisis management, Mr. Faisal has holistic 21st century skills including digital technology, using big data, brand management and public relations, campaigning, using social media.

He possesses a robust understanding of international affairs with an insatiable curiosity to learn more. Mr. Faisal demonstrates great integrity showing dedication to promote global interests. IIRMR senior vice president is always passionate about international cooperation.
